Troy Scott-  First of all Sarah, we were talking a little bit before and you didn't believe me that I watched The Bachelor.
Sarah Blondin-  (laughing) I didn't!
Troy-  And I proved to you that I did!
Sarah-  It's not very often you hear a guy watching the show.
Troy-  Well you know, I'm also married but before that I was also a fan.  You know what, I've got to be honest with you, when I first started watching it I was like, "You know, this is gonna set the woman's movement back about a hundred million years."
Sarah-  (laughing) No kidding.
Troy-  Some of those girls on there, I don't know how you kept it together.
Sarah-  I know.
Troy-  They're all insane except for you!
Sarah-  It was quite a challenge to say the least.  But no hard feelings, right?
Troy-  No hard feelings.  And I was going to ask you this Sarah, on the bio page on ABC.com, it says your ideal mate is "tall, funny, sincere, honest, gentle and has good teeth", I'm out there, "and has very kind eyes."  Does that still hold true after this whole thing?
Sarah- (laughing)  Pretty much, yeah.
Troy-  What did you learn out of this entire experience?
Sarah-  If anything it made me a stronger person and, I don't know, hold your head high.

"Sarah from Canada"
Making it to the final four, wasn't far
enough for Sarah Blondin on ABC's "The Bachelor"
and she told SpeakFree correspondent,
DJ Troy Scott all about it.
Troy-  Why did you want to get into this thing?  I know you applied online, right?
Sarah-  Yes, I did apply online.  And it was kind of a fluke thing and I got carried away and I got flown to L.A. for interviews and then the next thing I knew I was picked to be on this huge national television show.  So pretty much it was just for an adventure and an experience mostly.
Troy-  What was going through your head?  Like what did you put in the application form, do you think, that set yourself apart from the rest of the people?
Sarah-  I really don't know.  I don't know.  I guess they just wanted a girl from Canada.
Troy-  That's true.  And they got the best girl from Canada.  From Winnipeg!
Sarah-  Thank you.  (laughing)  Yeah.
Troy-  We were cheering for you big time here and it was funny.  There's Moana who's insane.
Sarah-  Yes.
Troy-  And the other girl… I don't even know her name but I call her "Veronica Lodge".
Sarah-  That's Susan.
Troy-  Susan the actress.
Sarah-  Susan the overdramatic actress.
Troy-  She's a total drama queen.  I got totally into this Bachelor thing.  The message boards on ABC.com…
Sarah- Oh, I know.
Troy-  Do you read those?
Sarah-  I do, actually.
Troy-  How can you do that?  That must like kill you!
Sarah-  The feedback has gone from bad to good.  So the feedback now is good so it's kind of more entertaining to read it now.
Troy-  It's so in depth.  They found Susan's MySpace.com page and they posted it.
Sarah-  I know, I know, I know.  They rip you apart on those things.
Troy-  It's incredible.  I'm looking at this site saying, "Are these people either jealous or just completely nuts?"
Sarah-  Yeah, because you notice that some of them have 90 posts a day.  They're doing this 24 hours a day kinda deal.

Troy-  So Sarah, when you got selected, and you went off to Paris and everything, and we remember when you first met Travis (the Bachelor) you kind of did the little slip there, but you were totally cool about it, you were totally natural.  Other people would have hopped back in the limo and freaked out… I would have anyway, I would have just went crazy and left for the Eiffel Tower or something.  What were you thinking?  OK, this is the guy.  What was the first thing going through your mind when you saw this Travis guy?
Sarah-  I was so extremely nervous, number one.  Number two, he's a really handsome guy.  So, I don't know, I was just happy that I got a good Bachelor as opposed to some of the past.
