JB- About the kids on the show. Were any of them, was any of them the class clown? The smart aleck? What were their personalities like?
CM- Yeah, they were all very quirky. One of the kids wants to be a comedian when he grows up, so he definitely had some material that he was working on. They all…at that age they all have that Grade 5 charm. They were all just charming kids.
JB- Does anyone stick out in your mind?
CM- Amongst the kids?
JB- Yes.
CM- They all do, because I got to know them fairly well. We all went out for dinner to The Spaghetti Factory one night and spent some time together. So they all have their personality traits and quirks. It was like getting new friends, but they're much more mature than I am.
JB- So you got to be a kid again.
CM- It was nice. I got to be goofy and silly and they got all my jokes and didn't judge me.
JB- And that's harsh these days with the critics in Hollywood.
CM- Oh, yes, absolutely.
JB- So, I have a few questions for you, and I want to see if you can pass the test. You ready?
CM- Oh, OK. (laughing)
JB- What is the capital of British Columbia?
CM- Victoria.
(Bell dings)
JB- Who were the last three prime ministers of Canada?
CM- Oh, God. Stephen Harper, Paul Martin, Jean Chretien.
(Bell dings)
JB- Yup. In what month does winter begin in Canada?
CM- Oh, I think that's changed since I was a kid, since global warming. I'll say October.
(Buzzer sounds)
JB- December.
CM- Oh. [disappointed]
JB- Aww. Now, OK, you've got to get this one. Of all the cast members on "Whose Line is it Anyway?" who was the handsomest?
CM- That would have to be Colin Mochrie.
(Buzzer sounds)
JB- My page says Ryan Stiles, uh, OK.
CM- That's so wrong.
JB- These must be the Americans who did it.
CM- It must be.
JB- I've got the wrong answer here.
CM- Yeah, but with the conversion it's me.
JB- (laughing) The height conversion?
CM- Yeah.
JB- I think you did pretty good on those. Good job.
CM- Well, thank you.
JB- So when can we catch the show?
CM- We premiere on October 25, and then five weeks after that.
JB- Sounds good, well, I know you're doing your whirlwind press tour today. Have fun with that. Thanks for chatting.
CM- Thanks for having me.
JB- Take care.
CM- You too.
