JB-  Hans, you've got a few albums out - a new one this year.
Hans-  Yup.
JB- Tell me about "Slow It Down".  What can we hear on it and where can we pick it up?
Hans-  I'll go in reverse.  You can pick it up on our website atlastmusic.com, under our "Store" section and, this is great timing, because we're re-releasing that CD with two new additional tracks from the show "America's Got Talent" that were performed in the finals.  We had a lot of requests from fans to include "Let's Stay Together" and "Killing Me Softly" from the show so we went into the studio after the show and now we're repackaging the CD and re-releasing it with two extra songs.  And it also includes DJ and the artwork that he wasn't on the CD prior.  "Slow It Down", for me, is a great accomplishment - writing and producing all of the songs, recording and engineering all of the songs in-house.  Everything on this new CD is pretty much the four of us from the first step to the last.  It's definitely more geared around love and a lot of songs just kind of touch base with emotions and a lot of heartache and just certain situations you'll experience with relationships.  It's a great learning process and we're very proud of it.
JB-  Do you write your own stuff?  How much is original?
Hans-  Pretty much everything except for the a cappella covers (remakes of other artist's songs) are written and produced by AT LAST.
JB-  Wow.  Justin, in terms of upcoming shows, any other appearances, what are your plans for the next few months?
Justin-  That's great that you asked that.  We are planning a holiday tour into the southwest…
JB-  Of Canada, right?
Justin-  Yes!
JB-  Yes, that's it…
Justin-  I know it's a little far from you guys, but we're going to kick off the tour just after Thanksgiving in Dallas and kind of work our way through the major cities all the way back to L.A. and end in L.A. in mid to late December.  We're still solidifying the dates but it will be on our website in the next week or two, so have your readers check that out - atlastmusic.com.

JB-  Justin, who are your musical idols?
Justin- I grew up listening to a lot of four-part harmony groups like Boyz II Men.  I love Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder.  I'm really into the whole R&B/Soul thing.
JB-  Mike, do you think being different is always a good thing in the music industry?
Mike-  Definitely.  It definitely has its advantages.  I think the market can be very saturated with a lot of groups that are very similar and having a unique sound or look can definitely be very beneficial as far as getting people to notice you.  I think the music industry is due for a fresh new sound and we can provide that.
JB-  In hindsight, looking at the NBC website and its description of you being Asian, wouldn't you consider that to be a good thing then?  Because it did separate you and classify you as being different than the other acts that were on the show.
Mike-  Well, yeah. But it was kind of redundant because our picture was right beside it and obviously we're Asian.
JB-  You could just be very nicely tanned!
Mike-  (laughing)  But being different really has helped us stand out.  That label, in hindsight, probably did help us out too.  There aren't a lot of Asian singing groups out there so we're remembered pretty easily.  Whenever the four of us are out in public we get recognized all the time.

JB-  Mike, if you weren't doing music, what would you be doing in your life?
Mike-  To be honest, I have no idea.  The longer and longer I've been in this group the more and more I realize this is my calling.  This is what I want to be involved in.
DJ- My response to the question is-  I'd be flipping burgers right now.
JB-  For which restaurant?
DJ-  Mc D's.  That's the biggest chain!
